No. He's still on the team. He just never panned out.

Landry caught almost every ball thrown his way. He'll thrive in the slot with Q or somebody else over the top. They can even put Smith at receiver.

I like Landry as the X wr and if we get Leslie I like him at Y. If we dont get him then Dural will fit nicely there. I like Beckham at slot with Brazil in as well. AP is said to have 4.4 speed and he has good hieght and size at 6'2" so he'll be great either at 3 or backing up either Leslie or Dural at the Y spot.

Post less!
without a new OC you'll see the same sloppy garbage we've seen since Flynn left.

J. Landry and Odell are true slot WR

Landry is a great fit anywhere you line him up, but he'd certainly be a great slot receiver. OBJ is NOT a slot receiver; he is too chary of contact. He has good speed, though, and his leaping ability makes him play a couple of inches taller. He has elite quickness, too.

Both OBJ and Landry are head-and-shoulders better than Avery Peterson. AP looks terrible in the clips posted above, but in fairness to him, the QB is too awful to really evaluate AP. I don't know about Dural, but I've heard good things, and presumably, he knows the playbook. The Holy Cross kid looked elite from the clip I saw. If you want to focus on a new guy at wideout, that's your best bet IMO. He looked extremely athletic and - strangely, considering he's only played two years - he looked college-ready. Of course, he had a good QB.
