No. Jennings will run it at some point in his career. There isn't anything wrong with the short side option.

I don't see us running it with Mett, but I could see it coming back with Jennings.

Until you run it 90% of the game.

People hate the sso for no reason. It works for other teams. JJ9 just wasn't a decisive option QB so it looked horrible at times. Also worked well at times too.

I concur. It has its place. I just don't want that play to be so prevalent when we insert a dual starting QB, as it becomes to predictable. And I definitely don't want Mett to ever run it, as that would be a wasted down.

I think it is fair to say, if Mett is healthy all year, we shouldn't see it much at all this year unless Jennings is in for mop up play.

Same goes with running any play 90% of the time... Lucky for us, that has never happened.

A lot of times the short-side option is also the weak-side option, which can work out very well. It has in times past for LSU, but the fans tend to focus on the crap results.

At this point I hope they call the short side option on every play of the first game. Maybe then all of the tards who like to bring it up constantly will off themselves.

Win!

Also do you think we are counting out Rettig to fast...(I think Jennings is better.)...Basically what does he do if he doesn't win the job.

If you see the toss dive or the short side option, you immediately know that Miles is calling plays still. There's no other explanation.

Personally I would prefer the plays called to be less offensive.
