We've got a special coach who cares more about life than X's and O's or wins and losses. I can see why many parents want their sons playing for him.

Thank you Les Miles for being you. And for being real.

Geaux Tigers and Geaux Sid!

I said it at the time and believe it to this day. No other coach in the country could have made it through that 2005 season. Les is something special and I hope he stays with the LSU program long after he hangs up his whistle.

If winning or losing is unconditional for appreciating Les Miles, then why bring it up?

Why just not appreciate him?

Today is a defining moment for CLM and he knows that. This is the worst looking Bama team that we will see for a while. Today is a put up or shut up day

It's a good thing your 6 year old is smarter than you. Or at least respectful and doesn't look for a negative in something that should remain positive.

I'm glad Miles is a good guy but I'd really like for him to start beating Bama and winning significantly again

People will be upset, but it is just a game. I personally believe they made the rt hire and proud to have Les represent LSU.

Miles is a good guy.

Cholly Mac was a good guy.

Saban is a great coach and may not be such a good guy.

Bear Bryant was a great coach and may not have been such a good guy.

It is indeed "put up or shut up" time for Miles this season.

He's lost four straight to Saban.

If it's five straight when Miles has a loaded roster and the best RB in the country--which plays into what Miles likes to do ... then Miles will likely cement his legacy as Cholly Mac to Saban's Bear Bryant.

Postscript: Despite this loaded team, special teams has been a weakness. No excuse though--that's Miles's ultimate responsibility. He brought back his buddy Bradley Dale.

As long as he doesn't do anything to hurt or embarrass the school, I don't care if the coach is a nice guy. I don't hang out with him.
