Will we continue to kick the ball straight this weekend?

Outside of the one penalty on gamble, most of the kick offs went high and straight to about the 5 yard line, and resulted in field position around the 20 yard line.

Letting the punter just boot the ball instead of angling it resulted in booming punts, twice over the returners head.

To everyone else in the world, it's pretty obvious that we need to continue to kick the ball straight, but les is gonna les. Are we going to see straight kicks on Saturday? Because that could make the difference between a win and a loss

don't know, but it was damn sure nice to see our kickoffs staying in the field of play this past game.

This really has been one of the weirdest things about this team over the last few years.

It really is nuts. The straight sky kicks seemed to accomplish exactly what les says he wants

I imagine if you can start going the coffin Corner kick off relatively consistently it will be a advantage in net yards even with an out of bounds.

This rugby style punting sucks. They dance around out there like little Mexican ballerinas--and then they wonder why they can't kick the ball more than 15 yards.

That pussy kicking makes me puke. Kick the ball like a fricking man.

I thought they did that in case they see an opening to run it for a first down.

Should just in kick it out of the end zone. Seems like we risk 10 yards with an out of bounds penalty to gain 5 yards if we tackle them at the 20. Not worth it. Just boom it out of the end zone.

Just as we saw the experiment with BHarris die to the better DEtling we need to see the CGamble experiment give way to Connor Culp on these ko's

the returner got lucky as hell and probably got roasted when he got to the sidelines, you never let a catchable kickoff hit the ground in the field of play like that. It could have easily bounced the other direction.

That was the only time I didn't see BDP on camera when they showed Les, but Aranda walked behind Les right after that penalty and he wasn't smiling.

Gamble was kicking everything to the back of the end zone as a true freshman. He's been taught how to kick out of bounds at the 6.
