Will there be any way of knowing if the NIT was going to invite us

I kind of feel like part of the reason we decided not to participate was to save face in case we weren't invited

We were a proected 5 seed in the NIT as of 5:30 PM yesterday.

I watched the selection show at 7:30 last night on ESPNU. I believe it was the first question they asked the chairman and he said a couple of times that LSU was definitely being considered until they were informed by LSU that they weren't interested.

The last seed Belmont had an rpi of 95. Our is 94. So we were def on the bubble for it, but would have most likely been in
