I keep hearing that he will slide to left tackle next year but he is our best lineman by far. Does anyone thinks he'll stay to play tackle if he gets a high draft grade at guard or center?

It depends on if he's willing to enter the NFL as a center/guard without much film of him playing tackle. I think it would be best for him to play tackle as a senior so that he is a proven commodity.

I don't think so. I think he will slide out to tackle next year and earn a lot of money by doing so.

Turner aside, I agree. Guards leaving early is far from the norm.

It depends on where the NFL sees his fit. Can he play tackle?

I think he can play every spot on the line and I think NFL scouts will know that.

Cross-trained OLs that do everything well are very, very valuable. Hopefully he stays, but I if he goes, he deserves it.

I would imagine he stays and goes to T to get that $$ position. But man, he's awesome at C so who knows. He could be one of the rare 1st round C's.

In my opinion he'd be better off coming back next year and playing Left Tackle.

it always behooves the Bigs to gain as much experience as possible, and,if he concentrates on the money position next year and plays well, that just increases his value and draft stock; but, he needs a great insurance policy against injury if he stays, and LSU should pay for it IMO....
