Will The Chief take more chances with the D, like more complex blitz's etc....

Now that we have Cam !

Wondered the same thing. If our O becomes more functional, then it may allow our D to play more agressive. Will be interesting to watch.

If the offense is more productive, it should allow chief to take a few more chances

I think we're going to have to be more aggressive. We don't have as good a defense this year as we have in previous seasons. This means taking more chances and looking for big plays.

"If the offense is more productive"

Operative phrase here

If the offense is more productive, LSU should get comfortable leads early in 6 or 7 games during the regular season, forcing the other team to become predictable (i.e., throw the ball).

That does wonders for stats like sacks and interceptions, when the D can just pin their ears back and try to meet at the QB.

Our offense won't change. Why would the defense?

Spot on sir, spot on. With the potentially smaller D line and an undoubtedly more productive O, Chavis gon be Chavasing.

Mett, Hilliard, Blue and Hill will only be better.

edit. If Blue rehabs well enough.
