I'll certainly jump on the Fire Miles bandwagon if we lose the opening game directly related to his coaching.

If we lose because we aren't the better team, it changes nothing.

That would depend on the rest of the season. What if that's the only game he losses? Then i doubt he would be on the hotseat.

Seat wouldn't even get warm for three years minimum.

Even if he went 7-5 those three straight years. Too much money tied up in his contract.

However, miles is recruiting at an elite level so I don't expect him to go 7-5 any of those years.
