By holding on the Fulmer to long, the luster of the program slowly faded. They started losing out on the top recruits and couldn't find the right guy. This is what worries me the most about the LSU situation right now. Miles has been losing out or not evaluating the talent on the recruiting trail lately. There is a bumper crop in La. this year Bama has already nabbed the best OL prospect and may raid more. Games like last night keep fricking bringing down the LSU reputation. There is no excuse for the piss poor defense we are fielding and piss poor play in the first half of the offense.

Tennessee fell, and now Chavis is at LSU!!!!!

Now, LSU IS FALLING!

Is....is Chavis an Alabama Plant?!?!?!?!

No it's on the staff as a whole. He recruits a certain type of player right. He has stated he will never sacrifice speed for size. But WTF happens when that speed gets run the frick over and can't shed blocks? 525 yards of offense.

The respective recruiting bases make it a pointless comparison.

Oh Dear God, I hope not. But not, I don't see us falling as low as Tenn. did. Time to pick up another sport in another country if that happens.

Not really if you are recruiting the same type of player. Just look at the results LSU is missing the boat on these guys, or they are not developing them. Personaly I think and its' obivious the talent is not there, and if it is it's not on the field.

Which proven head coach would come to LSU if we fired Miles right now after what he's done?

That is my point, we are stuck he doesn't seem to be able to adapt. The success he has had will keep him wanting to do the same things. It's the same with Chavis. He sat back on all those 3rd and longs rushing only 4 and it killed him. That is exactly what happened at UT they did not change and everyone else caught up or passed them by.

Fulmer in the last few years at UT had gotten very lazy. Does Les look complacent or lazy?

We've barely won both of the games we lost, so no.

Chavis does need to step up and it's incumbent on Miles to make sure he does. Afterall, he's leading this ship

Nope

Execution is another story.

Morons are easy to spot when they come running about gameplans and shite when the QB throws 3 INTs, 2 in the endzone

Time will tell if Les is getting complacent or lazy. Let's see how we finish the rest of the season to be fair.

Morons are easy to spot who make statments with nothing to back it up with. The "game plan" was play like we have all year, just keep throwing into double coverage and pass out of I-formation sets with two wideouts. The game plan doesn't change with Les he has the recievers to spread people out he just doesn't. So moron next time you throw labels out there at least have a halfway decent arguement.

Fulmer's last 4 years: 29 wins
Miles' last 4 years: 43 wins

Fulmer finished 4th and 5th in the east in last 4 years. Miles hasn't been out of top 2 and has had national champ in his division each of those years.

I'll give the guy with 11 wins a year a tiny bit of a break.
