Yes. He did the day before Rabalais story Charlie said he had sources telling him and he deeply believed that Miles was coaching for his job "the next two games." And he had to win them both.

I've listened to him a bit. Charlie has always said, "This is what I'm hearing..."

The only consistent report is that Miles is likely done after this game.

If they stand by their stories they need to reveal the source because if the source is an insider, they need to be let go as well.

Journalists NEVER reveal sources. That goes against everything in the business.

Hanagriff and Rabalais have exactly zero responsibility for this situation.

Hanagriff did not start this. What are you smoking.

He was the first to mention that Miles may be in trouble. Based on his history of shooting that kind of talk down, people ran with it.

I agree with you, though. All he did was note a change in how the wind was blowing. It was the Rabalais article that really started the wheel rolling.

this... if it wouldn't have been them, it would have been someone else doing the exact same thing.... they were doing their jobs as journalist/reporters.... i don't fault them at all..

the fault is on those who leaked it to Rabalais... that's the source and the reason we know what we know now...

When the A.D. Is your source, you run with the story. My guess is Jimbo fell through. Reports surfacing that Jimbo told FSU he's staying last night.

I have been listening to Charlie since he started on 1300am in port allen and listen to him every minute the last few weeks. He definitely said Les is out if he lost to Ole Miss and Arkansas....and said "I've been told that by certain people." and he led with it for last two weeks.

WTF did Hanagriff do?

All he ever said was that for the 1st time, Miles was in trouble. It was nothing more than a feeling at the time.

I guess if you don't belittle the coach and players on a daily basis, you're what's wrong with America.
Don't support who you have but moan and complain continuously.
Make the game unbearable for those around you until you get your way, when you have no control of fixing it.
If that makes you a great American and fan, I guess I'm a bad one.

If anything, he has been trying to temper the rant's theories that got them overly excited.

While the rant thought for sure that he was gone, and the team meeting was goodbye, he kept saying that the team meeting was normal and even if he gets fired, doubt in happens in the coming weeks.

Geez,

First it's the AD's fault, then it's the fans fault, now it's the media's fault?

No one would say a word if Les had taken care of things. They last 4 years have been his own doing. The fans didn't make this team play this way from a coaching standpoint.

If the fans, media, AD, and everyone except the coach have so much power, then why is Les Miles making a single dime? Apparently he can't do a single thing wrong.

This thread isn't about Les, it's about how this got started. And it was Alleva -----> Rabalais. And Alleva has handled this poorly at best.

If we are playing the jumping blame game, one person that had been off the radar is fricking Ryan Perriloux.

If he wasn't a moron, we don't get a redshirt freshman gunslinger getting raped by SEC defenses, which caused Les to fully take over and dampen the offense and essentially killed the Mad Hatter.
