Since when? No one ever made this a thing except for the rant.

Well kinda since Matt M., Hester, and Dickson.

18 looks better on that side of the ball anyway. 7 looks better on D.

I never knew the #7 was to be passed around. What if Guice likes #5. Who cares, really?

I am worthy. I will return to college and join the team as a walk on.

Guice will wear 5. 18 is the only number with traditional significance. Curious to see who gets that one. Oh yeah and all punters must wear 38

From what I understand #18 is given to the "leader" of the team. At least that's how it was when Matt Mauk and Jacob Hester wore 18.

But the thread is about who is going to wear #7? So what does the #7 represent?

Nothing. It's just a coincidence that the last few people to wear it were the best player on the team at the time

JD Moore should get 18. He's the the embodiment of it.

7 would look pretty cool on Key

leonard fournette broke the lsu record with 16 carries 284 yards jn 3 qtrs jn a game, fournette did not play in 4th qtr in the game he broke the record; guice broke the lsu new record of 284 yards in a game with 37 carries and 285 yards played the whole game. ah guice can keep the #5 he good but not as good as fournette. guice is known at #5 anyway

It's a depressing time when the jersey number threads start popping up. Means football is over and there's nothing interesting to talk about. But usually these threads at least wait til Jan.
