I hope so. The kids a stud. I just think he wont get the pitches he wants later in the season to accomplish that. That being said, he will hit many HR's in the future for sure.

That will be the main obstacle for him to overcome. That and better pitching in the SEC.
I just hope he remains patient at the plate as the drivable pitches he sees diminishes.

He's going after Larson's record.
Also, he did hit a home run this year that landed in Lot A of Tiger Stadium parking. I had a friend out there who said it rolled to the entrance of Tiger Stadium so there's that.

SEC pitching might be a tad overrated this season. UF and Carolina have some great arms, but I have not seen a plethora of great arms anywhere else.

He was always a threat to jack one but he is becoming much better at the plate, taking walks, hitting it oppo, and drove a curveball for a single yesterday. Hope he keeps it up.
