Will Davis seems to have his Lamar team on the right track.

Looks like they will be coming into tonight at 4-0 with a big win over #23 Arizona. Sorta weird, they played them on Monday after a 3 game series? Guessing Arizona didn't have much pitching left.

Anyone know who is throwing for us tonight?

My next door neighbor's grandson is on the Lamar team. Yes Davis is doing a lot, but Jim is still the boss.

Jim is a great person and coach for Davis to learn under. Jim has been at Lamar for 38 years and has enjoyed success there.

Austin Bain will start, with Riley Smith coming on in relief. Both are auditioning for the Sunday starting role.

I can not wait. looking forward to watching the tigers and not having to travel to see them. Lots of tiger fans are going to be in the stands for this one.

Weather note: wind will be blowing straight out, a rarity at Vincent-Beck. Could see some long fly balls carry out!

Thanks for the weather report.

What's the seating capacity of the Lamar baseball stadium?

About 3500 i believe. It is completely sold out including general admission...has been for a week.

Glad we got our seats when they opened for sale. we have 10 seats in a block on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd row on LSU's baseline. My 7yr old is super excited...I have to admit, i am too!

That's a pretty decent size. ULL only holds 3700.

Do you think there will there be more LSU fans or Lamar fans? It's quite a ways away from BR, but very close to LA.

I figure it'll be a pretty good mix. I know a lot of LSU alumni going.

That being said, a lot of local lamar fans will go because LSU is such a big name.
