Every firing is a cluster. Hell The media even tried to make the spurrier redignation into a controversy.

the media does this shite.. i heard today this shite went down when bama fired shula.. how did that turn out?

The media does this whenever any coach with a modicum of success is fired absent him stringing several losing seasons together. They're hypocrites. They'll shite on a coach ad nauseam until his job is actually in jeopardy, then they'll move the goal posts and shite on the school for overreacting.

LSU is considering giving Les a 15 Million dollar pension in addition to a wildly successful financial tenure at LSU. I wish someone would "mistreat or handle" me this way.

Will you people quit making these threads. How do you know if it's the worst handling of a coach when nobody knows jack shite about the situation? Just let it play out and quit acting like a bunch of baby chicken littles!!
More of the catastrophe syndrome!

1. Terrible AD
2. Program in constant turmoil
3. Competing against some of the best-recruited and coached teams in the country including Alabama
4. A fan base that consistently overrates our talent while underrating that of our opponents
5. A national sports media that devours and magnifies every crazy tidbit of news out of Baton Rouge
What's not lo love? What coach in his right mind could turn down such a program?

You can always come on over to Arkansas.

Sure, we run off coaches too, we just do it with banners and FOIA requests. But at least the expectations are low and we beat some good teams here and there.

Moral of the story: all fanbases are crazy

Why would any coach want to come to LSU?

Miles having earned like 50 mil at LSU should get some "want" by other coaches.

Having said that, I am afraid more than a few who post here are going to be disappointed when Miles is still the HC come next season.

Most professionals in the industry understand that these kinds of things are messy.

I remember the 90s and I'm hoping the administration doesn't let the program sink back to that level

I think coaches realize that's how these things go down and unless there's a mutual separation it's never going to be pretty. Emotional fans don't realize that. LSU is handling this fine and Les isn't being treated any worse than any other coach who has ever been fired.

Then get the hell out. If you like horrible offensive play. 90 yards of penalties a game. Delay of games on a constatnt bassis. Horrible special teams and a hard headed man that wont change.tFollow him to his next job.

WTF is LSU supposed to do? Give Les a vote of confidence and then fire him? Or fire him mid week?

Or STFU exactly like they've done and address it after the game?

What would you do OP?

94th or worse in offense the last 6 of 7 year. The man has had his chance to stay the hell out of the offense and hasnt. Only thing keeping this team afloat has been top 10 defenses and you see this year what an average defense has resulted in. Their is no damn reason this school should be losing to ARKANSAS. That is a damn joke we have to worry about losing them every year now.

God, you whiny Nancy's! Put on your big girl panties- this is SEC football, a billion dollar business. It's where the big boys play. This isn't The View or the Oprah show. Wipe your noses and behinds and man up. Miles will be fine and so will LSU. Plenty of coaches would love this job but fans like you we can do without.
