Damn! Too bad we don't have a senior quarterback.

Well we have no idea whether ZM8 has improved or not. I think you know what you get out of C.Pachall.

there are many games where LSU does not win by the gaming margin

Big non-conference games in the regular season are not among those very ofen. Outside of maybe North Carolina in 2010, I don't remember any, really. Until recently, it also included bowl games, but that's gone out the window the last few years.

Bet the ranch on the Tigahs

I'm not betting shite. I had $500 on the Tigers against North Carolina, that didn't work out too well for me.

Can't wait til their senior qb get power slammed by one of our "unproven" d ends - gonna be a massacre!

Lots of factors here--but one big edge for the Tigers is that they will likely not have as many starters out as TCU. I do not believe this point has been adequately addressed so far in reports I have seen about the game.

Still, it is the first game & remember how LSU struggled to beat North Carolina, who had several starters suspended a few years ago.

Doubt this will be an easy win, but I think LSU could break it open early to mid 4th quarter.

Because people are betting on TCU Vegas doesn't predict outcomes, they don't think LSU will win by 3-4 points and they could care less. They're just trying to get equal action on both teams, and 3.5 is the number they've found to do it.

This is the dumbest thing I've read in awhile

well the line moves according to the publics bets. In a perfect scenario Vegas just wants to split the public bets 50/50 and collect on the juice. His post was poorly worded but if you don't understand this concept you have no business placing sports bets

lol the line is set based on what Vegas experts think the margin of victory will be. Not based on bets. Then it can be moved (a half a point here, a full point there) to get action.

His poorly worded post made it completely incorrect. So I guess I didn't understand what he was saying...

Works for me! Wish we we're the consensus underdog! No better motivation for us!

Our youngest, and weakest to him, is the d line and their O line is young as well. Besides the fact that he is overlooking the talent of our guys, TCU is hurting there. Not to mention he ignored their problems at linebacker. And what is the clear strength of LSU offense during Les? Running the ball

Our OL with Copand will maul TCU's defense. This will be a situation where we can be predicatable on offense and still move the ball. Our running game will be very effective. I have a feeling that some of our fanbase will get frustrated because we're not running the ball on almost every play.

Gary Patterson

This time next week, I will be on my way to the big D to watch TCU take a stiff one in front of their home crowd.

Its articles like this that make me not read articles like this. Its the same logic as when people say "Bama lost 10 starters and will reload. LSU lost 10 starters and probably will take a step back this year due to lack of experience"
