Well then you had your head buried in the sand. Where have you been the last 3 years? Even this year there would be posts almost every week about how our passing game, special teams, etc. we're going to get us beat and Les won't make adjustments.

how certain are you that LSU can hire a new coach who is as good or better at recruiting?

Wow. You pumpers just don't get it. The last three games are only a snapshot of the last few years. I really can't make it any clearer for you.

Does the OP think the recruits are not watchin f the Les Miles slow rolling train wreck of a November. Do you really think a vote of confidence would change that? 2 have already jumped off, with more to come unless we show these recruits a new, more capable HC is going to be taking care of them and their chances at successful seasons to come.

Miles can't save this recruiting class. Jimbo can and could possibly add to it.

If Miles gets one more year, there's no guarantee he will be here for a new recruits Soph, Jr, or SR seasons.

Look at USCe. The rumors of uncertainty hurt Spurrier's last class, even tho he was officially coming back for at least one more year. We got Arden Key because of it.

Spurrier annually pulled in a Top 20 recruiting class. Before his retirement, the uncertainty dropped it into the 40's. Now after his mid-season resignation, it's ranked 50th.

because he brings in talent and doesn't use it properly.

More talent just like he has already, doesn't solve the problem.

Why?

What has Miles done lately with top recruiting classes?

Why handcuff the next coach with Miles idea of a QB?

This class started falling apart a month ago when Alelva was informed that Franks would be de committing

maybe the sudden frenzy by the bipolar fan base (i.e., rantards) and the imminent threat of his ouster will serve as a huge wakeup call for him ... enough to change his stubborn ways in regards to his staff and the offense

I'd love to believe that but it wouldn't happen. If Les has finally come to the conclusion that he needs to change, I'd say he's a few years too late and his stubbornness is exactly what cost him this job. I'm definitely not a guy that's been publicly stating that he needed to be fired. In my mind, it's always been a risk/reward situation but I've seen this day coming for years.

If we take the emotion out of this situation, it's really not a difficult decision.

Have you seen a measurable improvement in Les' game management skills over the past 11 years? He had $4.3m reasons to to change his approach or delegate those decisions to one of his assistants. Did he do that?

How do we have the highest paid coaching staff in the country but not one of them is being considered as a replacement for Les? If Les wanted to coach at LSU for 20 years, he probably should have turned our offense over to someone else years ago. He didn't do that and he's had 4 opportunities. That's on Les.

What are Les Miles' strengths as a HC? It's not offense or defense so that leaves one option. He's a CEO type and he should have realized that long ago. He had the backing ($$) to hire anyone but he obviously believed that his way was the only way. That's not who Les is and it's also why his departure was never going to be easy.
