Why no review of Quinn's catch for what looked like a TD in the 3rd Quarter?

I was in the northeast end zone when Quinn was finally thrown a chance at a TD. He dove and it looked like he made it past the pylon, but the zebras marked it out at the 3. The same thing happened earlier with the same result. Both looked like scores. Also, for some reason Tra White insists on trying to pick up any punt that comes near him. He tried to field one on about the two near the north end zone and it looked like it hit him on the ankle before rolling into the end zone. Think we dodged a bullet on that one.

Maybe he might've stepped out.

There were a couple of plays that I thought would be challenged. My thought was that the coaches were more interested in reps than challenges. Left unchallenged, it meant Harris et al would run get to run more plays.

Who knows?

It was very very close, deserved a closer look IMO. Had it been a big game, closer score, it probably would've been reviewed.

He wasn't clearly out. It wasn't obvious like if he stepped out two feet. They replayed it several times. It was a line call. If the edge of your foot barely touches the out line means your out then maybe he was. However, they would have had to zoom it in on his foot to see because it wasn't as obvious as some have said. Also, with it being a blow out and the game under control nobody cared enough to challenge the call. That's the bottom line.

His heel did not come down, would have been reviewed in big game.

I thought replay showed heel never touched out of bounds

I just watched the replay again. He was really on a rope. Honestly it could have been argued either way. Because of the situation there was no challenge.

He was in. In a closer game we challenge that. We were going to win the game, no need to challenge and disrespect an opponent. How he did not drift out of bounds says a lot about his body control.

It sure was close!

Just Sorry that could have been Quinn's 1st career TD...That play gets reviewed in a closer game vs a quality opponet

I'm not so sure about that. A close look at the replay could have been overturned call into TD. Unfortunately, the game was well in hand and I guess the powers that be decided to not review it too intensely. Great play by Quinn. I thought he scored looking at the review.

Quinn was out, but Mills, OTOH, scored. Would have given LSU two defensive scores for the night.

I sit on the northeast 5 yard line.

It wasn't a TD.

While true Mills was not out like he was ruled he did come down short of the goalline by about a half a football. His forearm touched down but his body caromed over the pylon.
