Article worth a read, it disseminates the match-up between the lines and has a lot of good points to make.

Film Study

I still think the history of this series will eventually be too hard to overcome for State, but I am actually looking forward to this match up. This will tell us a lot about LSU, and will either bring the best or the worst out of this team.

Very difficult matchup for LSU. Arguably the best D-line LSU will face all year. Had MSU have had a test early in the season, I think they'd be more prepared (as an offense) to move the ball consistently. I think LSU wins, but I don't see how the spread is so out-of-whack.

We're gonna find out if LSU can protect the QB and convert through the air on 3rd and medium/long.

Didn't read the article yet but but our advantage over MSU is our receivers versus their DBs. With that said it probably means we will have a very productive night running the ball.

I think it is at every position except qb...but I think AJ will play better than DP

So they use a clip of Wisconsin running the ball on LSU.

Then they use a clip of Miss St. stuffing the run against South Alabama.

So they come to the conclusion: MSU will run the ball and LSU will not.

What position will the history of the series be playing for LSU? I hope it's DT.

LSU has lock down corners. LSU will stack the box to stop the run.

Game over.

Hunter and Rasco will pressure DP also...there will be some balls up for grabs. Maybe a pick 6

we found out that Wisconsin couldn't throw the ball on us, so we stacked the box. My guess is chavis forces them to pass it against our talented secondary before he doesn't constantly stack the box with 8 or 9.

Also Wisconsin has one of the best rush offenses in the country, MSU won't be able to pound it like they did.

I hope the LSU SDS site breaks down game film showing us holding ULM under 100 total yards and the LSU offense lighting up SHSU.

Conclusion, LSU holds MooState to 93 total yards and wins 51-0.

That article was written to get folks believing this will be a close game on ESPN. State will fold once again. The state QB is good but with no one to throw to and few options to run the ball, they will be very limited on offense. With LSU secondary able to man up on edges, the pressure will break the bulldog game plan and they will eventually be stopped. I think the LSU offense will start slowly as Cam and Les will call a lot of runs and safe throws to settle Jennings. But the downfield threat should click a few times and loosen things up and we may finally see the tight-ends get into the mix this week. The backs will have a field day in the second half and we will be resting players by the 4th quarter.
