Why isn't LSU fielding a former LSU basketball team in the TBT?

The Basketball Tournament
There are dozens of Universities across the US where their alumni basketball players have put together a team to compete in this $2 million dollar NCAA tournament style tournament. Most teams have current & former NBA and Overseas Pros playing plus other former teammates playing.
You would think the TAF would put together a team of former LSU basketball players to field a team like every other major basketball & university has done. Kentucky, Virginia, Syracuse, Kansas, UCLA, Texas, Gonzaga, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, etc have all put teams together for this event.

Pretty sure hes referring to Coach Jones declining the NIT by saying Antonio was basically dead because of the flu or something like that
