Why isn't Deion Jones on the field over Welter?

Every time Debo Jones is on the field, he's making plays & flying all over the field while Welter looks like he's the slower version of Thomas Dunson. What am I missing? Shouldn't we have our best athletes on the field?

D.J Welter is more experienced, knows the system better than Debo.

Welter knows the plays. Doesn't do anything with them, but he knows how it all works.

Debo isnt a MLB.

because Barrow wasn't good enough to grab the Mike spot in the offseason and give Debo the Will.

IMO, Debo has not looked good this season and he plays weakside not Mike.

Get your athletes on the field & they will learn quickly. You can't coach speed & being a baller. Welter maybe is a starter at Vandy, not LSU.

2 games ago, Jones didn't know his plays AND he can't call the defensive signals when he is in, according to articles I read in the paper/websites.

So Feist, Jones, and Sandolph were good enough to play last year and suck this year and forgot the play book. Got ya.

I'm wondering more why Lamar Louis isn't out there over Welter.
Not trying to bash anyone but Welter only played two games last season. The opener and the bowl game.
Louis played 11 games. He certainly should have learned a few things, being out the with Minter.

If need be, put the guy who is often in the middle for nickel and dime packages: Kwon Alexander. Then get a Debo Jones on the field. Guys who know the plays but cannot make any plays are useless.
