Alabama would fight that like hell, we don't ever want to stop that series no matter the circumstances. We aren't bitches. And the schools voted 11(including UF)-3 to keep permanent opponents, so...

The 2014 schedule came out today. Florida is on it.
There was prevalent talk of ridding this nonsense permanent rivalry as soon as A&M entered.
For the sake of logic and reason, this annual game needs to be put to bed. Louisiana and Florida are not next door neighbors. Unfortunately, that decision still goes through Birmingham.

If you answered one, then you are wrong. LSU plays every team in the West every year.
Permanent non-divisional opp. is just a way to screw LSU. The don't be a pussy argument could very easily cost LSU an National Championship this year.

You honestly believe that the first thing we'd hear of permanent opponent's being abolished would come from the schedule being released and us being all like UH WTF WARS FLERDA?
