Why is it so hard to acknowledge that LSU beat Bama in the 2011 reg season?

An excerpt from an article about Saban in "rematches" in advance of the A&M game (by the way....isn't labeling the game a rematch a little ridiculous since it's two entirely different teams squaring off than the year prior?)

2011 vs. LSU
Reversal: Both the 2010 game and this game were three-point losses, but Alabama’s pass defense improved the second time around, holding LSU to 91 pass yards and picking off two passes, after allowing 208 pass yards with no interceptions in the previous meeting.
Statistical hindrance: Since Alabama lost this game, we’re calling this one statistical hindrance instead of statistical boon. And it was clear: Alabama missed four field goal attempts, including a potential game-tying field goal in overtime.

that's not even true. Bama had the ball first. LSU kicked the game winning FG on 3rd down just to be sure they didn't muff the snap.

When Ford stepped out of bounds I went crazy celebrating. Thought he was in bounds and it was a TD!

Why is it so hard to admit some of our fanbase is overly obsessed with all things Alabama?

They also mention that Saban is 4-3 coming off bye weeks but fail to mention that the same team gave him all three losses.

If you asked many cf fans the w/l record in the past 10 yrs of bama vs lsu they would think lsu has only won once or twice.
Who cares. :inb4obsessedwithbama:

Remember that was the "Game of the Century?" Gene Stallings said this weekend is the biggest game Alabama has ever played in, just wow.
