Why is Grimes Getting a Pass?

O-line consistently underperforms in pass protection. Who is the LT and why don't we have one?

Yeah the OL was the worst part of our entire team yesterday.
Holy frick that was embarrassing. Joe Montana and Barry Sanders would've had trouble behind that line. This was Wisconsin, imagine Alabama.

He's been a pretty good recruiter but he loads up on guards and hasn't recruited tackle well. Not sure what the deal is with all this cross-training across the line. Tackles playing center, guards playing tackle. His coaching appears to leave a lot to be desired.

And will clapp had a terrible two plays with the false start then missed block on the Harris game ending int. Smh

He isn't good at center. He was good at guard, but for some inexplicable reason, this terrible offensive coaching staff keeps him at center.

Grimes was brought in for 1 thing....recruiting..that Auburn 2010 OL was so talented, Les Miles couldnt have screwed it up...they were all plug and play, and Grimes entire reputation was made off of that season.

Wisc LB's were 1 yard behind the DL. Same story different year. The OL hadn't a chance in that scenario

Les interferes to much with the offensive line. And the entire offense. We see the results. He just can't let the other coaches do their jobs. Jeff is a victim of Les's meddling.

That is true for most of the coaches. Miles has assembled a staff of world class recruiters that unfortunately can't coach the talent they bring in.

Grimes is horrible line has not pass blocked well at all since he's been here needs to be replaced

For the first time, I'm seriously, seriously considering giving my tickets up for this game. I have no desire to hear Rammer Jammer in Tiger Stadium after watching Miles force LF7 to get smashed behind the line of scrimmage for 60 minutes again.
For the record, I've never left a game early for any reason and have always supported the team. I just think this one this year may be too much.

It's pointless and futile to bitch about any of the offensive assistants. There is one scapegoat in all this.
