Why does the coach have to talk to the media/public so damn much?

Monday presser, SEC coaches teleconference, radio show, then ANOTHER presser Thursday, and on top of that sometimes they do other media appearances.
That's a lot of media time. I'd rather he be out there recruiting or watching film.
And don't give me this stuff about the fans need to know, because we don't need to know.

This coach is not a very good spokesperson for the university.
Les was not the best, either, but he came off as quirky, not stupid.

I have friends and famil locates all over the country. They always asked if our coach was retarded. The guy could barely make a sentence.

You obviously never truly listen to Coach O
He never dances around questions, his answers are direct and honest. If he is answered a question he can answer he gives great answers. You never have to guess what he means.

Really?? I think the opposite. I think O comes off as extremely intelligent, football savvy, media savvy, but when he's not careful, just a bit hard to understand at times. Les was an enigma because we always thought he was holding back...that he had a secret genius about him...turns out, his perceived alter ego is Nonexistant. He is who he I is all the time - No Enigma...

I watched Les do an interview with FOX .. he was not crisp ... like having to think what to ask.

The media already has to invent shite so they can write and talk about LSU football every day. Each week, Orgeron gets to find four ways to say the same things over and over.
