Why does ESPN still use an 11 year old clip of Skyler Green in their commercials

For years now ESPN's shown a clip of Skyler Green returning a punt for a TD against Auburn in 2005 in their commercials. Whether it be for the watch ESPN app or that bowl mania commercial they just showed. Seems a little odd when there's a lot of clips newer than 2005.

Because ESPN actually loves LSU. That video probably has the right angle, speed, content, etc. They are going for.

I always wondered if Skyler made some money allowing ESPN to use him in the commercial

Doubt it. College probably retains rights to all that.

Damn I didn't realize that was Skyler, never noticed how often they play that clip until recently and thought it was Magee

All that matters is that LSU is getting the love.

Are you sure it's Skyler? I always thought it was Keiland Williams
