Why does everyone think LSU all of a sudden sucks?

Losing to Florida in the swamp? Looking at the SCvLSU predictions one would think we're worse than the 08 team(that defense was not good despite Lee's picks)
This team is good, and can play better and will. O line shifting was the main problem against UF. I say D is better than last year. Anyone agree?

Your title was so suspenseful...
Seriously though. Your title sucks.
Overall though I read a study done by an LSU professor once stating that Vegas and humans in general put too much stock in the last appearance. That you can take teams that are upset one week and they normally play better than expected the next week. I see this being the case and I see the Tigers winning.

The defense is still good, not as good as last year.
The offense is not good, issues on the O-Line, ball security, dumb penalties, dropped passes are killing us.
We are not playing with "swag".

I was thiinking the same thing also . I know the offense is struggling but there is too much talent on this team not to get it together at some point

Does anyone really think that? Plenty of people think there is something seriously wrong with the Tigers' offense, and after watching every game this season, I have to count myself as one of those people.
I hope the OL can play an inspired game against the Cocks' D this weekend.

The offense sucks and most everyone including the players apparently have lost confidence in the coaching staff to fix it. Hearing him say "I don't know" in a press conference doesn't instill positive energy in a fan base.

Agree with you
Some people see things in extremes while ignoring all the stuff in the middle. LSU is all right, just has some issues and will most likely win most of their games. They don't "suck" but do have some issues.

For some reason there are plenty of people that think we will be going 7-5 this year and that we are going to lose to Arkansas and/or Ole Miss.
I personally don't think there is any chance we lose 5 games. However, I would assume those that think we are going to lose 5 games think we suck.

Its not that they suck, they have lost alot of key players, which took this team from great to average. You can't expect to lose almost your whole offensive line, arguably the greatest playmaker that LSU has had, and some key LB's and expect to compete at the same level. Or run first offensive philosophy has been shattered because of the o-line. Our coaching staff is to blame for not putting together some creative plays to combat the speed rush of most SEC defenses, leading to our stagnant offense. IMO

I suppose the outcome of the game this weekend will have a lot to do with the course of the season. Season still hangs in the balance.

the argument is that this year's D is better than last year's.
im not saying that the defense is bad, heck it's still one of the best in the country.
but to say that it's better than one of the best defenses of all time is pretty crazy.
