Defense can't be on the field for 100 plays with little support from the offense. The losses are catching up to the trend of forcing the defense to win.

1-3 in our last 4 bowl games. 3 losses largely due to a poor offense.

If you don't fix what's broke, it's going to continue to bite you in the arse. We can't keep expecting our defense to be all-world. We're going to have a year where it's down on development. I'm expecting our defense next year to be the worst under Chavis if everyone leaves as expected. That's way too many questions on defense...more than usual and a lot of inexperience.

Because we are tired of watching our top level defense get screwed by having to play the equivalent of two games every time it goes out onto the field. Because we had nine frickin' first downs Monday night. Because we had zero first downs in the first half of the SEC championship game last year. Because we didn't cross the 50 in the national championship. Because we could only score 12 against Auburn this year.
