The Bama fans are trying too hard to use this. I know where it originated. But truly doesn't bother me at all lol

It's just weird. I've never seen a corndog at LSU. Now, they do sell them at Ole Piss stadium.

They will say that your response proves that it bothers you. There is no winning this.

I agree with you by the way.

Corndogs are awesome! Don't understand the perceived insult, but then again, I'm kinda slow.

I guess it's kinda like calling them toothless, cousin-lovin' gumps. They embrace the sterotype.

I always wondered the same thing.
It's just a lame attempt at trolling us.

And yes, corndogs are great.

The reason is that they are jelly of all our culcha and the only thing offensive they could think of was,"hey... Smell all that good food at LSU tailgates? Let's call them corndog! That'll really rustle their jimmies!"

Auburned fans started it.... Well, technically it was the term for cornhusker fans given by sooner fans years ago when they were both relevant. Then Auburned fans stole it because they are as unoriginal as it comes.

This whole lame taunt has made me want a corndog now that its brought up all the time. A self-fulfilling taunt.

I love calling us corndogs and Bama fans gumps when I'm in Bama. The combination of being called a Gump and realizing that corndog doesn't bother me really gets to them.

Because other fan bases are morons. I like corn dogs. I also have no idea what they have to do with LSU.

That must be it.

It doesnt bother me, i dont eat them often but i do enjoy them from time to time.

Just the thought of it baffles me, the, first thing anyone talks about when mentioning LSU game day atmosphere is the food. Gumbo, jambalaya, etouffe, sauce picante.... i have never seen corndogs at or anywhere around LSU on a gameday, although i have thought about cooking some at a tailgate for an Auburn game, i just dont do it. Id much rather eat Jambalaya or ribs.
