I seem to remember him dropping back into coverage a couple of times.

Will be one of the biggest bust if he is taken high in the first. He will have to put on at least 30lbs to get where he need to be for the NFL.

Have to disagree. I think he will be a good outside linebacker.

And bruce irvin didnt weigh enough to lead all rookies in sacks this year, right?

He is a commodity because he's versatile, I think he will be a star on someone's defense.

He doesn't need to weigh more than 245. He did fairly well as an undersized defensive end. Bruce Irvin did pretty well and Mingo has more potential than him

BI is 6,3 250 and runs a legit 4.5, Mingo is 6,5 230 and get pushed all around the field if he doesn't beat the guy off the line. He needs to put on at least 25-30 lbs.

"Hey we have this guy who's one of the best DE's in college football, You know what we should do? We should line him up at outside linebacker because he's probably good at that too."

Makes sense.....

Maybe because he is projecting top 10-15 in the NFL Draft doing what he is doing...

That's simply wrong. With Mingo, it's speed, speed, speed. He will never overpower anyone, 30 extra pounds or not.

Chavis did use Mingo & Monty standing up with a 3 down-lineman front quite frequently. He was practically a part-time OLB.
