Coomes should be playing 1st... they say he's healthy, so is he still being punished for what was a one stupid play? Yes he needed a chewing and some sprints, but everyone had their heads up their asses against Tx Southern

He wasn't really hitting any better than Slaughter is now though. Coomes was in a enormous slump. Half his hits during the postseason were bloopers that just happened to fall.
Either way, I'd be ok with either of them starting. Coomes pretty much lost his 5th spot in the lineup if he starts again, though.

It's because (1) Jordan is in a spot in the lineup where he has a lot of at-bats with runners on, which causes more people to pay close attention when he is batting, and (2) while he hits at a decent clip, a higher-than-normal percentage of his outs seem to be really horrible looking. He doesn't seem to have very many "loud outs", its either a hit or a terrible strike-out with swings at at least one ball or a weak popup or double-play ground ball. And unlike a lot of our other players he isn't fast enough to beat out any throws.
