#8 LSU vs. #14 Clemson

Both teams are 10-2. LSU is 6-2 in the SEC, Clemson is 7-1 in the ACC. I want LSU to give them an SEC beatdown.

Good offense of Clemson vs. Great defense of LSU. I want to see LSU lay the WOOD on those motherfrickers. They have never seen a defense like LSU is going to show them.

And, Clemson's defense isn't good. This could be a great chance for LSU's offense to send a message. Mettenberger and the rest of the team is going to have a month to prepare.

Remember how good LSU's offense looked after they had 2 weeks to prepare for Alabama?

LSU's running backs are going to run right over this team, picking up yards in chunks. And that will make it easier for Mettenberger to throw.

I think this is the perfect team for LSU to lay the SMACKDOWN.

Frick Clemson with their copy-cat bullshite (pardon the pun).

I'm stoked! Game comes on 4:30 out here which gives me something to do before I go out NYE. Plus, we'll crush these phubcks and the negabitches will be totally confused. So, get pumped or be confused.

I'm not pumped because it's here, and my brother got FREE badass tickets BUT! I already have a trip planned to Oklahoma from Dec 26 - Jan 2nd.

Bad luck.

ETA Plane tickets bought

I agree. I look forward to seeing how our staaaaaacked defense plays. Mingo and Montgomery can have big games, and if we're lucky, maybe Blue can return. .

Because a majority of those that post on here are spoiled fans. That's it in a nutshell.

I agree with you.

Just get ready for the whiners that will show up soon.

Only reason not to be excited is because of what could have been. Once you get past that and the fact were in Atlanta again, people should realize it's a great matchup. That said, I expect it to be much like LSU vs GT 2009.

I got over it Sunday and now pumped. We need to embarrass the paper tigers ESP Dabo. It's 2.5 hours from Hoover-easy drive on I-20

Like the matchup. Don't like the Bowl. What's wrong with LSU vs Clemson in the Orange Bowl? Frick the Chicken Bowl in freezing Atlanta in late December!

The bowl isn't bad at all. It's the Peach Bowl.

And BCS bowls this year don't mean a thing at all considering teams like Northern Illinois, Louisville, and 5 loss Wisconsin are playing in BCS games. BCS games mean absolutely nothing this year because of the rules saying the best teams aren't allowed to go.

So this year, it's all about the match-ups. Because based on accomplishments, there are several teams that should be playing in BCS games that aren't. LSU, Georgia, and Texas A&M. Maybe even South Carolina.

I like the match up. See what we do with a quality OCC team. The NC will be the only other game I'll be watching.
Reminds me of when we played Virginia Tech, or West Virginia.

I want to see us torch Clemson - go for the throat and don't let up. Hope the team comes out fighting - it's like the start of next season and can send a message that we are as good as anyone in the country.

I'm pumped for this match up. Not the greatest bowl, but a great place to play and one of the better match ups. Chavis won't take long to figure out their game plan and they probably won't be able to stop our run game.

It has nothing to do with Clemson being undeserving of playing LSU. It has more to do with LSU deserving to play against Oklahoma, or wanting to play against Michigan. Let us act like kids who didn't get exactly what we wanted for Christmas. The disappointment will pass. And the less that is made of it the sooner it will pass. (Damn another Oklahoma reference.)
