This is Alabama. I'm not trying to be negative but we do still have an interim head coach and our passing game has looked decent at best. I think Chark will have some success and Fournette will do better this time around but I simply don't think we have enough to finally break the streak. Can someone please convince me otherwise?

No one believes we'll win for sure, everyone is just being positiger to mask our pain.

I think it's more just a "frick Alabama" attitude. Let's ride this high and talk shite and if we win, we can say I told you so. And if we lose, who cares, we lose to them every year.

Alabama will be a tough matchup, but we match up very well with them. We appear to be clicking, and just like usual, this ballgame may very well come down to the low level of penalties and coaching.

They're overrated. Ole Miss scored 43 on them. Arkansas put 30 on them.

Tennessee just lost to South Carolina.

A&M's defense is possibly the worst they've had since they joined the conference.

They have no impressive wins.

Our defense will shut their arse down.

I'd hate to be one who has to manage your extensive social calendar.

This is all we need for LF to run wild. Just pose a threat in the passing game to get people out of the box. Our defense has been playing lights out and will shut down their offense as the game goes along. I haven't been excited to play Bama in years. I finally feel like we have a real shot at winning this game instead of just hoping that we might win.

It feels damn good too!!!

Why does it matter? It makes it a lot more fun to have hope than to go into it saying no way we win.

Bama has some advantages but we are one of maybe 3 teams in the whole country that have the talent and depth to compete with them for 4 quarters. We consistently recruit as well as them and with our offence now less predictible, we should be able to score on them. They are still favored (as they should be) but we definitely have a punchers chance.

It's not confidence. It is a lack of dread that things will not be any different. There is an expectation of change. With that come a myriad of possibilities.

If you choose to self-loathe and be miserable, by all means go ahead. Let others enjoy this game week.

Game is in TS, which gives us a good shot based on bama's recent trips here.

Plus no more Les.

Personally, I'm not sure that we'll beat em, but I like our chances.

You want us to act like we did in the 90's when Spurrier and UF would come air raid us to death? They were always #1 just like Bama is now.........

Oh wait, we beat them once too! TS is due for #1 to go down again.

Do us all a favor and stop posting.

There's always the couple of contrarians who think they're funny and smart.

stop

LSU is the only team with the talent able to match up with bama. We now have a coach that is letting that talent show what it can do. We finaly have a qb who can make good reads and progressions and can manage a game. This wont be the same I formation, 1 wide out, run into a brick wall, throw it as far as you can every 5 plays, gameplan from the Tigers that we've seen in the past. We are able to spread the ball around and take advantage of matchups.

We have the best D by a long shot that they have faced this year and probably will face. They have a freshman QB and are missing their best DB. Tiger Stadium hasnt been its old self as of late, but if you dont think that place will be rocking Saturday night, youre out of your mind.

I see a relatively low scoring game where either team can win it in the 4th.

Big IF here but if we can keep etling upright and open a few holes for leonard we should have success against them. Will that equal a win... not sure bama has a habit of getting the bounces to go their way.

Either way as long as we play inspired and not intimidated we should be fine

I know anything can happen in TS on a Saturday night. LSU has beaten "better" teams before.

This is not a sure thing but you have to be fired up for this team.
