We have 16 points and only one TD. I think Wisconsin had about 330ish of offense. The D scored half of our points. That's hardly a bad performance and I think it's damn good when you consider how many opportunities our offense gave the opposition. It was our first game under a new coach and we already looked better than last year. I think he was about as good as advertised.

I will say that if Valentine gets hurt we are fricked. We have nobody else at nose.

I thought the defense did a magnificent job, if the offense had played half as well, we wouldn't have the pitchforks out!!!!

I thought the defense looked good at times...but I also thought we let the TE run wild and their RB got too many yards.

People are just down in general.
I think most realize that our major problems are on the other side of the ball.

Actually, they literally were, they gave up less than 20, which never happen last year.

They averaged 3 yards per carry.

In one game he was great. His defense lived on the field and kept us in the game. Are we so bad now that we can't give the guy more than one game to get his defense going?

I'm not. If we can't get Herman he would be my next choice.

If they could hold Wisconsin under 10 points we win even with pathetic Cameron offense.

I'm not down on him. I did see a lot of holes in the secondary coverage. The HB counter with two lineman pulling was giving us problems but we weathered the storm on most drives. I think a lot of the problems were caused by our offense going 3 and out every series and not being able to give the D time to regroup/rest.

Considering the time of possession was 37 to 23 I think the defense was great. LSU had 7 yards of offense in the first quarter. 7! I'm surprised they held up as well as they did.

Aranda made key second half adjustments. D Line depth will be an issue...Aranda is a welcome addition
