Everyone would rather play CSF, next question.

EDIT:Everyone thinks we have a better chance of beating CSF, but I see the point that we would only have to beat Vandy once if they lose today. Maybe it is better to face Vandy. But having to beat CSF's Thomas Eshelman will be tough.

Vandy.

If Vandy wins, they got this bracket locked up.

Wow so wrong! Would much rather have to take the chance against Vandy with Lange pitching and only need to beat them once as opposed to having to beating them twice later and they would get to play one less game than us if they win today too. Its all or nothing now, bring on Vandy tomorrow.

Vandy. Only have to beat the best team of the 3 once...then TCU since they are better than CSF

You're wrong.

Probable game 2 starters:
CSF: John Gavin, Freshman, 3.66 ERA
Vandy: Walker Buehler, Junior, 2.97 ERA, First round pick

Advantage Vandy

Team BA:
CSF: .265
Vandy: .295

Advantage Vandy

We have a better win probability against CSF.

Again, not playing for a game win, playing for a tourney win, we want Vandy out as quickly as possible.

We'll have to beat every one of these teams at least once to get out of this bracket. I'd rather play Vandy with Lange on the mound, and only have to beat them once.

We have to win the next game. Take it one game at a time. We cant be looking down the road. We have a better win probability against CSF in this next game. You cant debate that.

So you would rather have to beat the better team twice without being able to throw our ace? As opposed to the possibility of knocking the best team in our bracket out with the National Freshman Pitcher of the Year on the mound?

Bet you wanted Lange to start yesterday too huh?
Its a tournament. If you want to win the whole thing, you have to look down the road.

once you're in the losers bracket its basically a one game tourny. the bigger picture becomes a little foggy

ETA: i do understand what y'all are saying though
