Who would have made us a better TEAM: Ben or Jordan?

would we be a better team if we have never heard of simmons and Micky had stay in school.This is not bashing Ben he is a great player. just wondering if we would have been a BETTER TEAM

Mickey was a baller but wasnt much of a leader. With that said, our defense would be better this year, but offense would be worse. Give and take.

Simmons is a better player than Mickey in every aspect except blocks.
He scores better, rebounds better, passes better and Simmons is 2nd in the sec in steals per game.
Mickey is no where near the player Simmons is.

Simmons is is top 4 in the entire conf. in points(3rd), rebounds(1st),assists(4th),and steals (2nd). There is nothing that ponts to Mickey being a better player than Simmons except ignorant opinion.

Granted but i guess people have forgotten how many easy layups Mickey gave up because he left his man going for the help block.
ETA- the only thing Mickey was better than Simmons at was defense in the paint. Simmons is better than Mickey in every other aspect. Scoring,rebounding, perimeter def and facilitating.

EXCEPT that opposing players were AFRAID to go inside on LSU's defense with Jordan Mickey!!! We had plenty of rebounders,assist leadrers and point scorers last year!!

Simmons is a better scorer, passer, rebounder, and perimeter defender. Mickey's ability to block shots doesnt outweigh all that.
Simmons is the better cbb player in every aspect, except protecting the rim.
There isnt anything you can point too that shows Mickey being the better player.
Simmons is top 4 in the sec in ppg, rebounds, steals, and assists.
