Didn't a tight end - maybe Dickson wore it in the early 2000? I believe he was from Moss Point, MS.

He didn't pass it to Hester actually. They didn't really know each other well

Hester was an incoming player and it worked out well

The number 18 actually did not exist until Mauck wore it for LSU. It is now an internationally recognized number used in the majority of nations around the world.
