a rematch is bull shite. they had their chance and they lost. there are other teams out there that deserve a shot at the NC. the last time i saw this rematch crap was with michigan and ohio state. thankfully, i didn't happen. what the hell does the regular season even mean if the losers of a conference get a second chance? all of these playoff advocates talk out of both sides of their mouths; do teams get a second chance in a playoff? hell no. and that's the way it should be.

Bam a lost AT HOME. They missed their chance. If there is a rematch then all the talk about the regular season being important is BS

that would just suck for two reasons:

1) You would have a team that sis not even win their division playing for a NC

2) What happens when Bama wins ???

all the rematch talk was about LSU losing on the road. All the talking heads agreed that if Bama lost at home, they didn't deserve it. I agree. Bring on the next media darling!!

Win or lose, I was (and still am) against a re-match. Why should the winner have to beat the same team twice? What if Alabama beat us in a re-match. Where's the rubber match? Just a bad idea.

I do not, it would be 1-1 this season if LSU lost in a rematch and they get all the credit. LSU beat them in their house with all the cards stacked against them, really ...

Bama won't deserve another shot at LSU. LSU must beat a #5 or 6 Arkansas, then beat a top 15 SEC-East Champion in the SECCG. Bama will finish the year with one loss and the only semi-impressive wins are against Arky and Penn State.

I don't want to play Bama again, bring on Ok. State or Stanford or even Boise State.

I agree 100%. A rematch is pointless unless you are a Tide fan trying to salvage some respect. I say the Tide played hard and deserves their share of respect. This was no blow-out, but LSU is really the #1 team in the nation. Losing by 3 is no shame when the #1 team is used to winning all its other games by double-digits.

Do not want a rematch. We beat them in Tuscaloosa in front of over 90,000 of their fans. Rematches always favor the losing team.

The upside to an LSU/Bama rematch is that it would cause Skip Bayless to stroke out finally.
