To each his own. Dont really care about tech so ill pull for what helps LSU, and that is ODU
Good point. People might be forgetting Old Dominion beat us; if they win their tourney and make the field, that doesn't look as bad.

They're actually not a bad loss regardless of a conference tourney loss. They currently have an RPI of 38 and I doubt a loss to 51 ranked Tech or 74 ranked UTEP would drop them out of the top 50.

A bit off topic, but LSU is 1-4 against the three teams playing to play the Tigers Friday. I still want that win Friday. If TAM is 3-0 against LSU and doesn't get in ahead of the Tigers? I know how we would feel if reversed. A loss to Aub. or State would be another bad loss, but at least TAM would be eliminated.

Which makes the Tigers QF game so huge. Another loss to any of those three teams will draw the stink-eye of the Nc2a IMO. Just win Tigers!

Looks to me LSU is clearly on the bubble. It may take a win ovet Kentucky in semifinal to make the tourney. Just to many wtf loses to overcome.

Take those purple and yellow glasses off man. Tigers may still make tourney. But they have work to do and hopefully not many upsets in the conference tourneys.

Just let him be

In other news sounds like House may not play the tournament for A&m

Huge blow to their chances. Top scorer, 40% from 3 on 150+ ATTs. It could get ugly for TAMU in round 2. MSU/AU are very capable of beating them.

Well Illinois bubble is about to officially burst unless they have a big comeback. They would have probably needed a deep tourney run anyway.

Thursday Update:

Illinois has lost to a mediocre Michigan team. They're toast.

A&M has lost to a bad Auburn team. Most likely toast.

Iowa and St John lost, both are still very likely in the tournament.

Old Dominion has lost to a 168 RPI MTSU. This likely knocks them off the bubble and the CUSA will be a 1 bid league.

Yea House being out really killed A&M. He is so important to them because everyone else is really just a role player...good role players, but Caruso, Roberson, Jones, etc can't really take over a game and get their own shot consistently in the halfcourt sets

Caruso took over the game today. For AU.

Anyway, good thread man. Keep up the good work.

Well with our nice little collapse down the stretch we are in a dicey spot.

Teams to root against tonight: UCLA and IndianaEither team would likely punch its ticket with a top 15 win.
