Blakely. Maybe Duop. In fact, both would probably be All-SEC caliber on a decent team.

Who else you got?

Sampson and Mays both could.

Don't hang this all on the players. They are being taught by a middle school level coach. That's not hyperbole

Sorry for spelling, but apparently you knew what I meant.

I think Duop could do pretty damn good on a decent team.

I think Blakeney could start at most places. After that, I'm not sure. Reath and Mays are the next two best players that should at least crack the rotation. Reath would start at most schools.

Sampson play too badly on defense and has lost minutes on this team.

Nobody knows. This team runs no offense and teaches no defense.
So with even decent coaching this team may be good.

Anywhere else is a pretty big territory. Let's say the SEC and only Blakeney. Reath has been a huge disappointment. He has some talent but very bad hands and poor shot selection. Mays has a chance in the future but has made a ton of freshman mistakes which of course have not been corrected by the coach. Sampson is talented offensively but refuses to play defense. Epps has athleticism with a very poor grasp of fundamentals.

Blakeney would likely start on at least half the other SEC teams.

It's so hard evaluating the players on this team. Coaching and scheme seem to be severely lacking. At this point, it looks like the players have given up to various degrees. There is a lack of confidence and direction.

Some of the other players in a better situation and system may show much improvement, but no other player is clearly an SEC starter.

It is not the players. Have you seen and heard the coach in action? Or after?

Blakeney, Sampson & Patterson, along with Mays were supposed to give LSU a formidable backcourt. Except for Mays who is trying to do too much now, they are horribly inconsistent and mostly not good at all. There are not enough words to describe how terribly coached this LSU team is. I'm not sure if these players have been overrated are just a victim of Johnny Jones' coaching.
