I think it's a matter of how they win instead of by how much. If they come out sloppy and end up pulling away in the end by 20 pts, fans aren't going to be happy.

I can't speak for the people on the extremes, but a concise and efficient game plan with high-end execution would start to remove the sour taste from my mouth.
A dominant game on offense and defense and even competent special teams play would be a pleasant surprise.

Jax St. isn't bad. First team All American QB. I get that's it's Jax St but he had a solid game last week, just sayin..

Put up 450 to 500 yards and completely dominant the game on both sides of the line and I'll have some hope that we can win 2 out of Bama, Ark, Ole Piss and Aubie/aTm. That won't be enough to retain him. Nothing I have seen from that offensive line tells me that will happen. They are not playing as a unit at all.

I'm not worried about the score. I just don't want to see LSU run the ball 75% of the time, then throw deep for a big gain. I know we can execute these plays against J-State. I want to see Harris sitting in the pocket, progressing through his routes, and throwing underneath, in the flats, and screens - those are the plays that Harris needs to work on.
I'll be disappointed if we win big with a game plan along the lines of: run, run, run, run, play-action pass for TD.
