At this stage of pre-season, we will really not get a sense of how well the offense is doing, or the impact of OL depth at this point on development. On NOLA.COM, O stated this in regard to Etling.."He was under duress all day with a tremendous rush." Is this a reflection of all the talent on defense and the fact Aranda has his system in full gear? Or, is this an indication of the OL depth issues that were reflected for the first unit on Saturday as the unit had a lot of freshman? Clearly, "baptism by fire!"...Again, one scrimmage, one statement is not going to let us know anything, but have to admit, when the head coach says his is "concerned", hard to ignore.

BYU game can't get here soon enought.

nor does it matter much. good teams with good coaching and good attitudes improve throughout the season. we are basically at the starting point and our new guys, esp on the OL are going to struggle as they get experience. I just hope we don't get an injured QB.
