Orgeron is not qualified to get a head coaching job at a power 5 school. He needed a UTSA to give him a shot to prove he had improved from his Ole Miss debacle. Joe Alleva should never get an AD job in life. Not sure what kind of administrator he is, but he knows dick about football.

O is not the coach we need but he is the one we deserve

I disagree. I think before he deserved another shot at a HC gig, he should have proven he could at least be a successful coordinator

Only reason I say this is because Frank got a shot with no experience as well. Orgeron was a head coach in the SEC and had 2 stints as interim. More than enough for a small school to bite. He should not have even been considered here.

The frick. This was not a rebuilding situation. O was hired under the guise that he would seamlessly transition from Miles and just tweak the offense with a upgrade at OC while maintaining the recruiting base. None of that has happened and we are bleeding commitments like a stuck pig. This is a shitshow and anybody that signed off on that idiotic contract should be fired. O's buyout should have been zero up to half his yearly salary and not a penny more.

I think LSU could've gotten someone more proven for sure. But what's going on right now would be going on regardless of who HC is. LSU is inexperienced and beat up. You aren't going to be very successful with that going against you.
