Is there anyone out there still in the Alleva camp? Does anyone actually think he will make a decent hire?

Alleva sucks, it's true. But what are the odds of Alleva actually even finding a worse coach than JJ??? I mean that's gonna be hard

0. If we are serious about winning we need to get rid of Alleva whenever we get rid of Jones

Nobody. He'll take a fan poll and go with that. I don't even know why we have an AD. Our Athletic department is a joke.

The man who brought you Trent Johnson, Johnny Jones and Ed Orgeron. No, he can't make a good hire.

Stansbury would be an upgrade. But would be settling IMO

If history is important, he held on to les miles way too long, wasted way too much money and he'll probably do the same with jones

Settling? I think Stansbury or Kermit is our ceiling at this stage.

Do you have faith that he'd actually fire Jones first?

Alleva would hire the person that would require him to do the least amount of work after a "nationwide search".

Alleva won't be making a third basketball hire. At this point, his fate is tied to Jones and Orgeron. If either fails, Alleva is gone as well.

The issue is that you still have King Alexander running the show. He'll bring in a puppet as AD that he can fully control - no one competent enough would be willing to work under him. Many of LSU's Chancellors have already fled the LSU system, simply to avoid having to deal with King.

No faith in Alleva for much of anything.
