Jones not a major player, but we don't beat Bama in 07 without him late in the 4th!

LOL, I took a double take when I saw his name on the list. I wonder if this will be his first time back on campus since getting booted.

Once he's on campus we better not let him leave.

We're already paying him. It's not like it would cost us anything for him to right the ship until we can find an adequate replacement.

Who knows? Maybe he and Canada would work well together. We already know he works well with Aranda and we already know Orgeron does not work well with Canada.

Would it be unprecedented? To the best of my knowledge yes.

Would LSU's record be better with Miles as HC instead of Orgeron? The data says this is extremely probable.

Would recruiting be affected? Nope.

It won't happen because Alleva has too much pride, but it would be better for LSU for Les to earn his money until an adequate replacement is found.

Orgeron would be co-HC with his responsibility being to coach the defensive line. His buyout is avoided (probably resigns with a negotiated buyout that would have LSU technically fire him and send him with $1.5 instead of 12).

What about this doesn’t work besides Alleva's ego?

Glenn Dorseywas the heart of that team. He was their leader. He was a 3 time all-American and is the most decorated football player in LSU history. He’s on the Mount Rushmore of LSU football.

I don’t think there’s any doubt who “should” get the loudest applause.

But there were some great ones on that team for sure.

Does he have any eligibility left??
Matt Canada would love that kid. He could be the next Russell Wilson. Playing college ball at the age of 30

Jones is one of the most overrated LSU players right there with Brad Wing. His legacy is contingent on no more than 5 plays. Outside of that he was a decent safety. He was popular and that's fine but talent isn't a popularity contest.

You mad?

Honestly, he's a legend because of all of the impact plays he made. Sure, we've had better safeties (as recently as last year) but Chad Jones won us games, both in football and baseball. No one is going to forget seeing him play, whether we're talking about his sacks or big hits or his absurd strikeouts at CWS.

Haha Perrilloux actually got an above average cheer.. they were saying the names so fast though it was hard to hear the name after a guy that got a loud one.
