Who do you think the LSU football players rooted for on Monday night?

Since most of us likely rooted for Clemson, do you think the players did also?

I think the whole "Clemson beat bama so we did too" is stupid.

But I rooted for Clemson, and I sure hope every LSU player did too. If only for a blueprint on how to beat them.

I'm sure many of them had a preference but I doubt any of them rejoice or revel in one team winning over the other.

There's probably a good bit of them that didn't even watch.

I'm sure they hate Bama too and are sick of them winning so much.

they likely didn't care but I would think they rooted for bama since they probably have more friends on bamas roster

You'd be surprised by how many didn't even watch the game.

I would think the players who watched rooted for the guys they know and like.

If Nick Saban were an ice cream flavor, he'd be pralines and dick.

Whatever team they have friends or former classmates on, just like how NFL players watch other teams games, if the outcome doesn't affect them.

I rooted for Clemson because I do not recall losing a single recruit to Clemson in a head to head battle. We have lost several key LA recruits to Bama in recent years including two from BTR this year. It is time to stop the mutual admiration society for Bama and declare war if we want to elevate our program. Anything that takes some luster off the Bama Process is good with me.

Lewis Neal seemed to be happy Bama lost.

On twitter most seemed happy that Alabama lost. One tweet even said "cheering for Alabama because they are in the SEC is not a thing"
