The Ducks or the Tigers? With our two QB's getting more reps does it help them or does Oregon setting up their defenses for less mobile signal callers give them a better edge?

I really think we are at a draw where we stand as of this point...

I think LSU offensively is going to have to revamp their offensive approach with Lee starting. For the ducks i would blitz lee every play and stack the box and prove he can handle the pressure and make better decisions.

I would say Oregon. Lee hasn't proved he can handle the blitz since he has been here. I would expect Oregon will work on some dynamic blitz packages to disguise where they're coming from...

With RS out and Lee in, I'd blitz him a lot. Make LSU prove they can throw over the top and stack the box against the run.

LSU has the edge.

Get ready for the pocket passer and add in the Wildcat with Blue or Gore?

This hurts us way more. J.J. was supposed to be the guy to run everything. Reps., etc.

Now, we're on the rebound with other guys that haven't taken the reps. What are you asking?

Yea..I kind of feel this way also. However, if we do get behind rather quickly, we may have serious problems with this much pressure on our QB.s.

This hurts LSU. We don't have to worry about a running qb. However, consistency at the qb spot was already a questionmark. Now it really is. I don't think this is a huge deal but it can't help LSU.

LSU. The defense will be pissed and take their aggression out on Oregon.

Each team must make a change in their approach to the game...Offense for us and the defense for them. I guess I was wondering if this changes anything as far as the "experts" predictions.

I think the team just got better, actually I am sure of it! JL has the tools and with Kragthorpe to develope him I believe we have awoken a sleeping giant.
Also LSU will be underrated until halftime of the Oregon game.

Hopefully Chavis is prepping Lee well by showing him numerous blitz packages in scrimmages. Our D is obviously better than oregons

If LSU wins this game with all the crap that has happened to them over the summer, they will have shown a lot to me.

Lose OC to Parkinson's diagnosis, lose starting QB a week before the opener against #3, lose a starting WR/multithreat player a week before the opener against #3.

If they win despite all this crap....watch out college football.

Were it the case that Lee is a much better and more productive passer than JJ, I assume he would have gotten the starting nod.

A reduction in LSU's QB mobility most probably simplifies things for Oregon's D.

Prior to this situation I was picking LSU in a close one. Now, I like Oregon by a TD or so.

Of course, Lee could come out and throw the ball around like Andrew Luck (who it should be noted is a very athletic, mobile QB) and make a fool of me.

This. We will probably end up being more conservative on offense and have to rely on our RBs more.

If UO Blitzes, we should run tons of quick WR screens to counter them early. Get our playmakers the ball in space. That's how we'll slow down the rush, and Lee has shown through the years, he can hit these passes as long as they aren't very wide passes, lol.
