Yea I did, but to not even get drafted means scouts don't even see the tools to transfer to the next level.

All it takes is for one organization to want him. There is a team that has their eye on Foster. He'll get drafted earlier than you think.

Sciv couldnt hit sec pitching last year and his defense was below average last year and in the fall. Pap is pretty good too

Pap sees the ball really well. He has more walks than:

Chinea
Scivicque
Hale
Sciambra
Foster

Even though he's batting .220. Which is up 80 points since March.

Paps will be one of the leading hitters next year. Book it.

Kid will be a stud when it's all said and done.

Deichman has to get a hit first before I say anything positive about him... or learn to bunt. Whichever comes first.

He'll come around. The few times I watched him hit in the fall he was stroking the ball.

Stevenson, Foster, Chinea for me

Stevenson just because speed & glove are so above average that you've got a good base to build on

Foster's swing is really powerful plus he's a great athlete. If glove can find a spot there could definitely be something there

Chinea reminds me so much of Ryan Garko that I think he could move fast

other way around- he'd rise and then they sign him for below slot because of zero leverage

Guess it could work either way really...

ETA: they'll also see not only how good he's been this year, but how bad he was last year. No doubt the kid had TONS of potential, though..

Off this year's team?
Bregman will be drafted 1st, followed by Stevenson.

Then there is Foster (I see him K'ing alot in the minors for awhile) and Chinea.

Scivicque & Hale will probably follow.

Crazy, our entire infield is likely to be drafted.

Weird we aren't talking about pitchers getting drafted highly like we usually are.

Foster has a lot of potential.

while he doesn't have all 5 tools going well right now they could develop

1) he has a cannon of an arm, not being used at 2B right now but he does have a cannon.
2) He has a lot of athleticism which has been shown by the fact that he has played both in the outfield and the infield and made spectacular plays, if he sticks to one position for many years in the minors he could be a good defensive player.
3) he has shown power all year
4) HE may struggle to get his average up
5) he has plenty of speed.

He is far from his peak and I think scouts will see that and take a chance on him fairly early in the draft.
