I would take Mickey Guidry over a few of those guys. Hodson's back-up, but he was good.

Absolutely.

Another great LSU QB that has been completely forgotten is Mike Hillman. Hillman was the QB on the 1969 team that was the best LSU team between 1958 and 2003. The 1969 LSU offense was the best LSU had prior to 2003.

Depends on what you consider "the top." No matter what you think of him or what he did/didn't contribute JJ is going to leave LSU with a shitload of wins as a starter under his belt.

Hillman was a leader; he proved in his tenure as QB with the Tigers.
