Toefield was an every down back pretty much
2002 he had 230 carries closest to that was 75 by Davis

I'm guessing it might have been Toefield. That's going out on a limb, of course.
During his years the rest of the team sucked though, that probably boosted his stats. But he did get it done.

Addai in 2005?
I'm not 100% certain of course, but I am pretty sure Addai wasn't an every down back at LSU in 2005. However he got a lot of the carries that year.

"Every down back" refers to being able to play in any situation, as opposed to a situational running back, or a third down back.
Toefield, Hester ..et al were feature backs and "every down backs."
A back who platoons in many different situations isn't an "every down back."

Hester was considered an everydown back. Whenever there was a yard or there was a sure run everyone knew who was going to get the ball and there was nothing they could about it 99% of the time. That is what is called an everydown back.
Hester!

Toefield was an everydown back in 2001 and added a lot to that offense. After Toefield got injured in 2002, Davis was the everydown back.
Addai was the everydown back in 2005 until he got injured and our running game went in the tank.
Hester was the everydown back in 07 and Scott was the everydown back in 08. We just don't have an everydown back this year, should give KW a shot at it imo.

i don't know how you're defining "every down" back
