What do yall think will be more exciting next year? LSU football or LSU basketball? That is if football ends up with a decent quarterback on the field because if Harris or Jennings improved a lot when fall comes we'll be dominant

Football for me. Proven young talent that should be capable of big things if QB play is just decent. We have one of the most talented young skill position sets that I can remember (rb,wr,te,).

I honestly can't decide. Both have a ton of potential and talent. Let's just shoot for a championship in both and call it a day.

I like the fact that with basketball you can lose more then 2 games and still be a contendar. Also the NCAA tournament is one of the most exciting post seasons in any sport. You combine that with the fact that we have the number one recruiting class in basketball it's tough to not say basketball even though everyone will say football. Basketball hasn't been this exciting in a while, which is awesome. On the other hand football is LSU. Theres nothing more exciting then a close game with 100k in death valley! It's also very exciting to see buga in action and LSU will always field a good team.

My answer both! It's not like we have to choose one or the other.

Football, only because it comes first. Then basketball.

Football, only because I like the sport more. However, this team JJ is putting together will probably close the gap a lot for me going forward.

I mean, how many schools can say that they have a legitimate shot at winning a NC in Football, Basketball, AND Baseball?

The answer will always be football for me.
Not to say that I'm not excited for the Basketball program, it's just not football.

I'll go with Basketball just because football won't play in January of 2016

You gotta be excited about both....and we should be right in the thick of it again in baseball. Now if the coaches will get out of their own way and pull the right strings, it could be a very special year.

As of now...basketball.

If Jennings is holding a clipboard on September 5th, you should get excited about football.

I had football and all my reasons typed out. But idk. Both have POY/Heisman potential players. Both have great recruiting classes coming in with young guys who will play. Football has a favorable schedule, but basketball allows for more losses. idk, man. I guess football because it's next.

Or if Jennings gets better.

At this point that's more hope (or wishful thinking) than excitement.

Jennings has nowhere to go but up. Miles won't give an opportunity to another QB unless he blows Jennings away. So if someone beats AJ out, it should signal an upgrade this season.

Do you only know how to go to extremes? How about some place in the middle?

What's wrong with saying we will be in it next year? This is, after all, LSU. We attract the best players and haven't really sucked in a while.
Characterizing us as somewhere in the middle seems a bit cynical.

Basketball and it's not even close.

Let's see.

Basketball: #1 player coming in

Football: same QB who practically is allergic to the end zone.

Clear cut choice

Yeah basketball will be stacked.. But for football, if you look at all other areas besides the quarterback situation we have top notch talent and IF we end up with a decent quarterback we have a great chance at a great season.
